We are thrilled to announce the new group of changemakers who are joining Surge Academy Detroit’s 2027 cohort! Building on the momentum from previous years, this next chapter brings Surge’s signature blend of mentorship, hands-on training, and community building back to the heart of the Motor City.

The 2027 Detroit cohort includes 20 fellows, and this diverse group is made up of leaders who bring their own set of experiences and vision for what’s next. They aren’t simply imagining how things can be better in their city; they are proactively positioning themselves to be part of the transformation.

We can’t wait to see what this cohort builds, and we know the Surge community will show up and support them every step of the way.
