Reflecting on the impact of Latinx Heritage Month, Tara Haskins (KC23 and Angels ‘24) responds, “I want people to know that our stories are rich. Our stories are powerful. We have moved, and we will continue to move our country to places that we know it can be.”

During Latinx Heritage Month, we’ve had the opportunity to chat with several Surge Alumni about their experiences with Surge, and how these experiences have informed the work they do in their respective communities. One thing is certain: the creativity, calling, and commitment of these persons reflect the boldness, depth, and innovative leadership of the Latinx Diaspora they represent.
