The Surge Academy movement continues in Detroit!

Earlier this year, the DET26 cohort completed their program journey. After six months of encouragement, challenge, and preparation, they are equipped to continue the movement in their communities.

On Pitch Day, the Fellows presented their bold freedom dreams to bring innovative initiatives to the students and communities they serve. The energy continued on Graduation Day as the Surge family and guests gathered to celebrate this milestone moment for the cohort. The closing retreat weekend marked the end of their program, but the beginning of their placement in the Surge family.

In reflection of the Fellows and their experience, Terrence Pruitt (CEO, Project Restore Initiative) said:
