Yesterday, Surge released our 2025 Impact Report.  A central theme emerges in its pages: When Surge leads, communities rise!

2025 proved to be our most impactful year yet, with highlights including: 526 Alumni and Fellows, 97% of whom have translated their Surge experience into expanded leadership and community impact;  8 program cities; and 3 million-plus students served. 

This report shares our successes, works to quantify the impact and ripple effects of our work, and outlines the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. We know that we are built for this moment. We also know the work we’re doing today is forging a better, brighter future.
