Her journey through the Surge Institute sparked a profound awakening. "Surge challenged me to lead with both clarity and conviction. Through the fellowship, I gained the language and confidence to advocate unapologetically for equity within my school and district." The experience connected her with fellow warriors fighting for educational justice. "Surge gave me a powerful network of like-minded leaders who remind me that transformative change is necessary."

She champions the Ninth Grade Academy, transforming the turbulent high school transition into a launching pad for sustained success.
